October 24 Time goes on.......Time is moving on and it is high time to add some photos and info of what has been going on!
This summer (July/August) Edu and myself flew back to Australia for a visit. It was a great get-away. Our friends Marc and his partner Rebecca also came, and they loved it! While in Aus we were on the go the whole time with family, on small trips, camping, excursions.....
It was very special being able to catch up with family and friends who we/I havnt seen for many years and who we probably wont see again until our next trip home (dont know when that will be).
After enjoying almost 4 weeks in Australia, we headed up to my place of birth - Rabaul, Papua New Guinea. This was the highlight of the trip. It has been 14 years since I had been in PNG, and so much has changed with the erruptions of the volcanos in 1992 and the whole town having moved to Kokopo.
It was so special having been able to see what DOES still exist, and what has been saved. It is nothing like it was before, the feeling is completly different, yet it is still so special.
